Outreach and Communications
The Outreach and Communications Committee works to educate and engage the Oregon public about our mission to achieve Oregon single payer health care. Committee members create outreach materials and set up in-person events to interface with the public.
The Digital Outreach Subcommittee creates content and uses our digital platforms to spread the word on universal health care and MVHCA activities further than in-person efforts can reach.
Outreach and Communications is co-chaired by Fritz Stephens-Tiley and Holly Bendixon.

Legislative
The Legislative Committee stays informed of efforts to achieve universal health care in the Oregon government and examines legislation. This committee has been busy following the state legislature, hoping to ensure the passage of Senate Bill 1089, which would establish a board to create a bill for universal care in our state!
This committee is co-chaired by Karen Christianson and Bruce Thomson.
Our Legislative Committee meets on the 2nd Friday of every month from 10:15 – 11:45am at the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church on 35th and Harrison in Corvallis.. If you’re interested in attending, or want more information, please fill out the contact form below.

The Finance Committee manages the internal finances of Mid-Valley Health Care Advocates.
