Mailbag: Erase health care inequality (from Albany Democrat Herald)

MVHCA member Tessa Green writes in the February 9th edition of Albany's Democrat-Herald:

"Despite repeated attempts over the last 100 years to adopt a universal health care system culminating in Obama’s affordable care act, the U.S. still lacks a plan that covers everybody. While part of that failure can be ascribed to a fear of “socialism/communism” associations, the other is a fear that profits in the medical industry (including but not limited to hospitals, pharmacies, and insurance companies) will decline precipitously."
